Job summary

The role involves training and safety lectures, along with ongoing quality improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have ARRT/ARMRIT MRI registration, BLS certification, and JRCERT MRI program completion; CT experience and pediatric imaging background are preferred.

Qualifications

• JRCERT MRI program completion preferred.
• CT experience preferred.
• One year pediatric imaging experience preferred.
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT registration in MRI is required.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association is required.
• Current Arizona MRTBE CRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training Radiography students and provide MRI safety lectures.
• Maintain competency by staying current with imaging practices and literature.
• Participate in evaluating new procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures and determine proper technique for optimal results.
• Handle RIS coding and archiving as per Radiologist specifications.
