The role includes supervising none, assisting in student training, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives while maintaining competency and professional development in diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a JRCERT approved radiologic program.
• One year radiology experience.
• One year pediatric imaging experience.
• Current Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency MRTBE license Required.
• Current ARRT registration in CT (Must obtain within 1 year).
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning procedures and ensure high-quality examinations.
• Assist in training imaging students and provide CT safety lectures.
• Maintain professional and technical competency by pursuing knowledge and staying updated on literature and best practices.
• Evaluate and help develop imaging procedures and quality initiatives to improve methods.
• Perform finalizing tasks including limited RIS coding and archiving per radiologist specs.
• Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Provide CT safety information to patients and families.
