Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking an MRI Technologist (Casual/PRN) to join our Wilmington, Delaware team. The role involves performing Magnetic Resonance studies with an emphasis on patient care in a welcoming environment.

Strong communication and collaboration with radiologists and staff are essential to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety. The position requires knowledge of Siemens and GE MRI systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call

Qualifications

• Trade school or college-based MRI training or equivalent.
• ARRT/ARMIT/CAMRT registration or MRI board certification within 18 months of hire.
• Degree in allied health with MRI certification within 18 months if applicable.
• Graduate of accredited MRI program with registry-eligibility and MRI board certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment (Siemens/GE) and ensure image quality.
• Prepare patient and explain procedure, obtain consent if required.
• Administer and document contrast media per protocol, monitor for reactions.
