Qualifications

• Specialized radiologic training beyond high school
• Minimum 6–12 months of RT experience
• Delaware Radiology Technologist license within 90 days
• ARRT Radiographer certification within 1 year
• ARRT CT Board Certification within 18 months
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging studies in a clinical radiology setting
• Prepare patients and provide exam instructions
• Administer and document contrast media per protocol
• Screen patients for contraindications and allergies
• Assist radiologists during imaging and IV contrast
• Maintain patient data entry and order processing
• Ensure proper radiation exposure factors to minimize dose
