Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a RN for the Pediatric and Movement Neurology team in Tucson, AZ. The role involves triaging patients, coordinating with providers and families, and ensuring care access using systems like Cerner and CoverMyMeds.

Work hours are 8am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a full-time position within University Medical Center Tucson’s Neurology Clinic. The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, participating in care coordination and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Must possess current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner roles require at least one year of acute care experience, with recent practice in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social and discharge planning needs; review history, diagnostics and labs.
• Formulate and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Deliver direct nursing care, coordinate with the team, delegate tasks and ensure communication of patient status.
