Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Director of Pediatric Molecular Pathology to lead the CW Laboratories. The candidate should be MD/DO or PhD, board-certified in Laboratory Genetics or Genomics, and eligible for a Wisconsin medical license.

This role includes a faculty appointment and time for research and education. The Director will oversee a high-volume molecular pathology program, mentor residents and fellows, and collaborate across the MCW/CW network to

  • Experience directing a molecular pathology laboratory or similar division.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee Pediatric Molecular Pathology activities for CW Laboratories.
  • Lead teaching and mentoring of AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology fellows.
  • Collaborate with MCW and CW teams on clinical, translational, and educational initiatives.
  • Represent the division in strategic, multi-site genetics/genomics programs.

Pediatrics Molecular Pathology Director

Milwaukee, WI (USA).

The Division of Pediatric Pathology at Children's Wisconsin (CW), within the Department of Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), is seeking to hire a full-time MD/DO or PhD that is board-certified (or eligible) in Laboratory Genetics or Genomics to join our subspecialized team in Milwaukee, WI and to serve in an exciting new leadership role as the Director of Pediatric Molecular Pathology of the CW Laboratories. This position includes a full-time faculty appointment at a rank and salary commensurate with experience and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to nationally recognized pediatric care, cutting-edge research, and innovative education in a collaborative academic medical center. MD/DO candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license.
