Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI seeks a full-time pediatric pathologist (board-eligible or certified) to join our subspecialized team as Director of Pediatric Anatomic Pathology. This is a faculty appointment at MCW with a competitive salary and a collaborative, pediatric-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatric pathologist or eligible for certification in pediatric pathology.

• Experience with pediatric surgical pathology and related subspecialties.

Responsibilities

PEDIATRIC ANATOMIC PATHOLOGY DIRECTOR

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN (USA).

The Division of Pediatric Pathology at Children’s Wisconsin (CW), within the Department of Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), is seeking a full-time board-certified (or eligible) pediatric pathologist to join our subspecialized team in Milwaukee, WI and to serve as Director of Pediatric Anatomic Pathology. This position includes a full-time faculty appointment at a rank and salary commensurate with experience and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to nationally recognized pediatric care, cutting-edge research, and innovative education in an actively growing academic medical center. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Join a collaborative team of pediatric pathologists & laboratory specialists that handles over 6,500 surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens annually.
• Experience a diverse case mix in pediatric pathology, including solid tumor pathology, hematopathology, flow cytometry, vascular malformations, and perinatal/placental pathology with shared call and autopsy coverage.
• Provide medical director leadership of the CW Histology Laboratory, with oversight of surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy services.
