Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee invites applications for a full-time Academic Pediatric Pathologist. The division seeks board-certified (or eligible) pathologist to join a subspecialized team with a faculty appointment at MCW, offering growth in clinical care, research, and education.

The role includes teaching residents and fellows, handling a diverse pediatric pathology caseload (solid tumors, hematopathology, flow cytometry, perinatal).

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatric pathologist or eligible.
• Eligible for unrestricted Wisconsin medical license.
• Strong clinical skills and collaborative spirit.
• Experience teaching residents and fellows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology fellows.
• Engage in clinical, translational, or basic science research with protected time.
• Provide diagnostic pediatric pathology services with a subspecialized team.
• Collaborate with CW Laboratories and other departments on case reviews and multidisciplinary sign-outs.

ACADEMIC PEDIATRIC PATHOLOGIST

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN (USA).The Division of Pediatric Pathology at Children's Wisconsin (CW), within the Department of Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), is seeking a full-time board-certified (or eligible) pediatric pathologist to join our subspecialized team in Milwaukee, WI. This position includes a full-time faculty appointment at a rank and salary commensurate with experience and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to nationally recognized pediatric care, cutting-edge research, and innovative education in an actively growing academic medical center. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Join a collaborative team of pediatric pathologists & laboratory specialists that handles over 6,500 surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens annually.
• Experience a diverse case mix in pediatric pathology, including solid tumor pathology, hematopathology, flow cytometry, vascular malformations, and perinatal/placental pathology with shared call and autopsy coverage.
• Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology & other pediatric specialty fellows.
