• Monitor and manage inventory and ensure sanitation of work areas and utensils.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute and manage human milk, donor milk and formula.
• Deliver and pick up supplies within the hospital.
• Verify feeding orders with dietitians to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain inventory, check expirations, restock units and rotate stock.
• Clean and sanitize utensils, workstations and supplies.
• Collaborate with lactation consultants, nurses and other staff to ensure proper use of milk and formula.
• Participate in in-service programs and departmental meetings.
