Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a coordinator for a complex observational clinical study in the Holtz lab. You will recruit participants, obtain informed consent, conduct visits, and ensure protocol compliance. You’ll manage data, assist with lab procedures, and support analyses.

The role requires organized, reliable communication, ability to travel to study visits, and availability some weekends/evenings. Experience with REDCap, Excel, and EPIC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire date.
• Clinical Research experience (2 years).

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing plans for research projects and discusses interpretation; aids manuscript preparation and grant proposals.
• Coordinates development of forms, questionnaires and research procedures; writes manuals for study progress and data collection.
• Manage all phases of study/protocol; ensures regulatory compliance; maintains records and reports adverse events.
• Evaluates collected clinical data; prepares presentations and reports of progress and findings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
