Job summary

Willow Springs Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is hiring a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join a pediatric team serving ages 6–17. The role supports play therapy, behavioral interventions, and clinical collaboration in a compassionate setting.

We offer 12-hour shifts with base pay plus weekend and night differential. Orientation is two weeks (Mon-Fri, 9:00am–5:30pm) before starting the schedule, in Reno, NV.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year in mental health arena; inpatient or outpatient psychiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in structured play therapy activities under clinical guidance.
• Support individualized treatment plans and behavioral strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress and behaviors.
• Foster a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other team members.
