Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field.
• 1-3 years experience providing supervised mental health services in a health care or mental health facility (Preferred).
• Requires knowledge of human behavior, social problems, counseling modalities, and community resources.
• Provisional Mental Health Practitioner Upon Hire or Mental Health Practitioner Upon Hire and Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological diagnostic clinical interviews and document plans.
• Provide crisis/supportive counseling and coaching to patients and families.
• Coordinate referrals for patient and family care navigation with the BSW support team.
• Document interventions in chart and communicate with care team; ensure safety and continuity of care.
• Attend regular supervision and participate in community education on mental health topics.
