Job summary

EB Pediatric Resources is seeking a Medical Biller to join our pediatric therapy clinic in Chicago. You will be responsible for processing insurance claims, collecting documents, and coordinating with schools and families to ensure services are billed correctly.

The role requires accuracy, strong customer service, and attention to detail as you support students with IEPs and Early Intervention programs in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and responsiveness are essential.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple billing tasks.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate billing and coding.

Responsibilities

• Process insurance claims for private and Medicaid accurately.
• Note and process required forms from insurance providers.
• Assist patients in navigating billing and insurance processes.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices and hospitals for billing details.
• Enter billing data into the EHR system without errors.
• Follow up on client payments and outstanding balances.
• Liaise with families, schools, and therapists to ensure services are billed correctly.
