PM Pediatrics is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support pediatric urgent care operations across our Bayside and Forest Hills, NY offices. You will assist with primary patient care under physician supervision, and help with both clinical and administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates have completed formal Medical Assistant training or recent MA experience in pediatrics, and must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and some holidays, with availability across all office hours.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior medical assistant experience preferred, especially pediatrics.
• Ability to obtain lab tests and perform basic clinical tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers and patients.
• Greet and register patients on arrival.
• Obtain medical history and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with procedures.
• Document routine labs and assist with wound care.
• Maintain exam rooms and waiting areas.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with the medical team.
