Qualifications

• One year of medical assistant experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of employment (if required)
• CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA or equivalent certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a pediatrician or nurse practitioner
• Take and record patient vitals (height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, resp., SpO2)
• Prepare exam rooms and assist clinicians with procedures
• Document accurately in the EMR and ensure correct vaccine and medications administration
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the clinic
