Job summary

Valleywise Health is hiring a Medical Assistant (Pool) for our Pediatric Clinic. You will work alongside physicians and nurses to provide patient-centered care, room patients, assist with procedures, and educate families.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited MA program, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification (or eligibility), and BLS. A fingerprint clearance is required. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required or eligible.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist with procedures in a pediatric clinic.
• Provide patient education and care coordination.
