Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CMA or RMA certification is required.
• Solid experience as a Medical Assistant, including phlebotomy & injections.
• Pediatrics experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams & labs with a caring, confident approach.
• Take vitals and document in EMR.
• Perform blood draws, urine collections, and specialty testing.
• Administer vaccines with a gentle touch.
• Answer patient messages and calls related to back-office care.
• Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready for the next patient.
• Perform EKGs.
• Educate parents about Shine’s philosophy and care steps.
• Cross-train in the front office.
