Job summary

Playground Management MSO LLC is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support pediatric providers and families. You will manage patient flow, document clinical information, assist with exams, and educate patients to promote understanding and adherence to care plans.

This role requires two years of MA experience, current BLS, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced clinic. Maintain HIPAA compliance and contribute to a positive patient experience while supporting team members.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA or RMA) credentialed by recognized bodies such as NHA/AMT/AAMA/NAHP/NCCT/AAH/AMCA.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certificate or diploma.
• Minimum of two years of professional Medical Assistant experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff in a professional manner.
• Escort patients from waiting room to exam room.
• Obtain patient history, vital signs, allergies, and document in the EHR.
• Assist with examinations and procedures as directed by the provider.
• Update patient charts with visit details in the EHR using standard medical terminology.
• Prepare exam rooms, ensure supplies, and maintain room sanitation.
• Return messages and follow up on patient requests via phone or portal.
