Aurora Medical Group (AMG) Sheboygan Pediatrics seeks a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support the care team in a fast-paced ambulatory setting in Sheboygan, WI. The role focuses on patient intake, vitals, and assisting providers during exams.

The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with benefits eligible. Certifications and licensure must be current, and adherence to safety and confidentiality guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• LPN or Medical Assistant credentials are required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days unless exempted by leadership.
• GED/HS equivalency or MA program completion with related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Education

LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse license

MA program completion or 2 years MA experience

BLS for Healthcare Providers certification

GED or HS Equivalency Diploma
