Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, medical assistant diploma or college course in medical assisting.
• Experience in family practice, internal medicine, or urgent care preferred; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and clinical tasks (taking histories, vital signs, specimens, injections, EKGs, PFTs).
• Manage clerical tasks (records, scheduling, check-in/out, chart updates).
• Support organizational duties and emergency response, communicate with patients and families.
