Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as a medical assistant.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA).
• Willingness to travel to other Nemours locations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for visits by collecting vitals and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines under supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform basic lab tests.
• Document patient information in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient care.
• Educate patients and families with provider-approved materials.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team members.
