Nemours Children's Health is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant (Palm Bay) to join our Primary Care team in Palm Bay, Florida. This role focuses on pediatric primary care, family-centered wellness, and partnering with providers to deliver high-quality care in kid-friendly environments.

You will support patient visits, help coordinate care, and maintain efficient clinic flow while ensuring a comforting environment for children and families.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience as a medical assistant.
• Active MA certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA) or equivalent.
• Travel to other locations will be required.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and prepare patients for visits by collecting vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines under supervision and protocols.
• Collect specimens and perform basic lab tasks.
• Document patient information in the EMR.
• Support smooth patient flow and coordination of visits.
• Educate patients and families using approved materials.
