Nemours Children's Health in Maitland, Florida is hiring a Medical Assistant I for our Primary Care team. You will support providers, coordinate visits, take vitals, and help create a welcoming, kid-friendly care environment for families.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, travel to other locations, and MA certification is preferred. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a leading pediatric health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Travel to other locations required.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA), RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and prepare patients for visits by collecting vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction.
• Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory testing.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient care.
• Educate patients and families using provider-approved materials.
• Maintain exam rooms and infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as needed.
