Job summary

Northwest Pediatrics in Greensboro Northwest is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical exams and patient flow. You will prepare patients, take vital signs, record information, collect specimens, and assist providers with procedures.

Requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and BLS certification. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday mornings; pay range is $21.85 to $32.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Proficiency in computer skills and EMR is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and gathering health information.
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assists physician/APP with procedures and administers routine medications under orders.
• Maintains smooth clinic flow and communicates effectively with patients and team.
