Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) Head Start is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support the health and well-being of children enrolled in the Head Start program. The role coordinates health services, assists families in accessing medical care, and collaborates with staff and community providers to promote positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and delivery of comprehensive health services for children enrolled in Head Start.
• Assist families in accessing medical care, preventive health services, and community health resources.
• Collaborate with Head Start staff, families, and community health providers to address children's health needs.
• Support compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and applicable health regulations.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and confidential child health records and documentation.
• Communicate with families and staff regarding health-related needs, services, and follow-up care.
• Promote positive health outcomes through family education, support, and coordination of services.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
