Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) Head Start is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant to support three Early Head Start classrooms and assist in delivering developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers. The role emphasizes responsive caregiving, teamwork, and family engagement in a caring, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Six college credit hours or Infant/Toddler CDA.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Willingness to obtain Early Childhood Development Specialization Certification through Ozarks Tech (employer paid).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom operations in three Early Head Start classrooms.
• Assist with providing responsive care and supervision to infants and toddlers.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Support implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and routines.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
