Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) – Pediatrics to join our Glenview, IL team. This full-time position supports front desk tasks and basic clinical duties in a pediatric setting.

You will greet patients, document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit; perform basic vitals; phlebotomy and injections may be required. Travel to other sites may be needed based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred, but not required
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred, but not required
• Experience: One year of work experience required; previous medical office experience preferred; on-the-job training available for those without prior MA training/experience
• Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required
