Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support within the Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD. You will assist providers, manage patient flow, take vitals, and help implement the medical plan of care under clinician direction.

Experience with EHR, MS Office, and strong communication is essential. This full-time role entails day shifts, with potential for growth in a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program (Must present diploma within 90 days)
• OR Completion of Medical Assistant externship (160 hours)
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and patient care team(s).
• Assist with taking vital signs, exam preparation and injections.
• Help ensure smooth patient flow and assist with implementing the medical plan of care.
