Job summary

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics in Cranberry Township is seeking a Limited Part-Time Medical Assistant to support the office. Weekend and evening availability is required to cover the clinic hours.

Rate and title will be determined by education and experience. Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with exams, preparing rooms, scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pediatric office experience is strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and medical terminology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vitals and assist with exams and procedures.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and manage equipment.
• Schedule appointments and confirm insurance.
• Update patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Follow HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Assist with specimens and injections under supervision.
• Support pediatric patients and families in a compassionate manner.
