Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift position (Monday - Friday 7a-3p) to support our Doylestown, PA campus.

The organization provides behavioral health treatment for children, adolescents and young adults on a 12-acre Bucks County campus with a full continuum of care, from inpatient to outpatient services, in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/AAMA).
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to pediatrician/nurse practitioners on daily sick call rounds for inpatient and RTF residents.
• Improves the patient experience through daily patient interaction, clerical support, ongoing projects, and additional duties as needed.
• Supports a variety of clerical functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc.
