Job summary

Bluebird Kids Health in Boynton Beach, FL seeks a skilled Medical Assistant with a patient-first mindset to support pediatric care and administrative tasks in a mission-driven clinic. You will take vitals, assist with procedures, manage records, help with scheduling and insurance tasks, and educate families on care plans while maintaining infection control and HIPAA compliance.

Experience in pediatric settings and CPR certification preferred; CMA or RMA credentials preferred; competitive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assisting program (preferred).
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential (preferred).
• Minimum one year experience in medical assisting or patient-facing role in clinic or hospital; pediatric experience and vaccine administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Take and record patients’ vital signs and assist with procedures.
• Greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and maintain medical records.
• Provide patients and families with information on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care; educate on preventive care.
