Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia seeks a Medical Assistant to support pediatric patients. Under RN supervision, you will perform triage, collect vitals, assist clinicians during exams, and help update patient records.

You will also handle routine clerical duties to keep the office running smoothly. You will contribute to a welcoming patient flow, assist at the front desk, and support the Practice Manager with general tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Pediatrics experience required or preferred.
• 1+ year of relevant medical assistant experience.
• BLS certification and MA certification from recognized bodies as listed in policy.

Responsibilities

• Administers triage and direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist clinicians with exams and routine procedures.
• Update and maintain medical records; maintain front desk operations and clerical tasks.
• Ensure smooth patient flow through the office and answer phones as needed.
