Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, part of Tower Health, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support pediatric care under RN supervision. You will triage, record vitals, assist clinicians in exams, and help maintain efficient patient flow.

The role includes routine administrative duties, front desk support, and clerical tasks to keep the office running smoothly. Certification from AAMA/AMT/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NHA is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
• Completes and maintains all required competencies and trainings for the role.
• Active medical assistant certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA, NAHP or NHA (required or THMG approval for others).

Responsibilities

• Triage and direct patient care under RN/Nurse Manager supervision.
• Take vitals (height/weight, blood pressure, etc.) and update medical records.
• Assist clinicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and basic care in the office.
• Provide secretarial support and assist front desk with clerical tasks.
