Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Springfield, Missouri outpatient clinic. You will support providers with direct and indirect patient care, maintain documentation, and assist with clinical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma, completion of an accredited MA program, BLS certification, and MA Clinic Academy training; one year of outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• One year of experience in outpatient or ambulatory care.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
