Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program and/or certification options.
• Certification as CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, ARMA or NRCMA preferred.
• 1-2 years of medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare charts, review referrals, and gather information for the patient encounter.
• Record vitals and health information in the EHR and manage clinic flow.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures and handle specimen preparation.
• Administer medications per site guidelines and manage vaccine program aspects.
• Answer calls, coordinate referrals, and ensure compliance with policies.
