Job summary

Advantra Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Pediatric Med/Surg experience for a PRN per diem role in Portland, Oregon. The RN will provide safe, compassionate care to pediatric patients during day shifts (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM PDT) and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Requirements include active RN license, recent pediatric Med/Surg experience, strong assessment and communication skills. This per diem opportunity offers a $63.00/hour pay rate and immediate start.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric Med/Surg patients.
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs and clinical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
