Job summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks an experienced pediatric inpatient RN to deliver safe, therapeutic care using the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The role works within interdisciplinary teams and carries out established nursing procedures with supervision as needed.

The RN is responsible for maintaining essential knowledge, complying with the Nurse Practice Act, and supporting the NURSE SVC SUPV 2 in overall performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years inpatient RN experience with pediatric medical-surgical patients and complex conditions.
• Experience with pediatric patients with behavioral/psychiatric health conditions is included.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of interdisciplinary and nursing teams; performs established nursing procedures and related duties.
