Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, documenting vital signs and treatments, and reporting patient status promptly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and may have completed Saint Francis Hospital Nurse Technician Training or a CNA program. CPR certification is required within 30 days of hire; 0–6 months related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Saint Francis Hospital Nurse Technician Training or CNA program completion.
• Previous health care related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assists ADLs.
• Documents data including treatments, vital signs, and I&O.
• Observes patient condition and reports changes to licensed nurse promptly.
• Transports patients, meals, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Attends in-services and participates in unit education.
• Maintains clean and orderly patient rooms and completes unit duties.
