Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving in pediatric or healthcare transport preferred.
• Experience working with children or families during transportation preferred.
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs safely and respectfully.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate demeanor essential.
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport pediatric patients to and from the Pediatric Medical Day Center.
• Follow assigned transportation routes and schedules.
• Assist patients entering and exiting the vehicle safely.
• Ensure proper use of wheelchairs, car seats, seat belts, and safety equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with families and staff.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading medical equipment as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
