Job summary

Nexus Health Systems in Shenandoah, TX, seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide compassionate care to pediatric patients. In this role, you will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, document responses, and support care plans within an inpatient setting.

This position requires a current LVN license in Texas, and preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where you can grow while making a difference for patients with complex needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred, ideally in an acute care setting.
• Experience with patients who have medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses strongly preferred.
• De-escalation training within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to pediatric patients under RN supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments safely within LVN scope.
• Monitor and report signs of acute illness or changes in condition.
