Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Swope Health Services Tenney Pediatrics Clinic will join a team of caregivers dedicated to delivering patient-centered care. You will take health histories, provide counseling, administer medications and treatments, and support physicians in daily clinical activities.

You will follow up on abnormal lab results, assist with pre-visit planning, and educate patients to empower their health.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Licensed to practice in Missouri and/or Kansas.
• BCLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Take health histories and provide health counseling.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Provide nursing care and assist physicians.
• Follow up on abnormal lab and imaging results.
• Support proactive pre-visit planning and patient education.
