Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Competence in providing care across pediatric age groups.

Responsibilities

• Collect and report patient data to support RN assessments and planning.
• Deliver direct patient care, including hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and wound care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments under RN delegation.
• Accurately document care and patient responses in the medical record.
• Assist in development and implementation of care plans.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team respectfully and effectively.
• Promote patient and family education related to diagnoses and treatment.
