Job summary

Especially Kidz in Shelbyville, Indiana, a pediatric nursing facility, seeks compassionate Licensed Nurses to join our team, delivering direct and indirect nursing care under direction of physicians and according to facility standards and regulations. You will assess residents and help develop and implement each resident’s plan of care.

Ideal candidates will be Indiana-licensed, preferably with LT care experience, able to supervise unit staff, review assignments, and initiate/update nursing care

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Indiana license in good standing.
• Prefer at least one year of experience in Long Term Care or related field.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and manage unit activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage personnel on the unit.
• Provide total care for residents on the unit and supervise direct care staff.
• Review daily nursing assignments to ensure alignment with abilities and training.
• Initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents.
