Job summary

Medical Health Associates of Western New York PLLC in Western New York is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our pediatric team in on-site offices. This full-time role supports patient care for infants to young adults, partnering with providers to deliver high-quality services in Tonawanda and East Amherst.

As an LPN, you will perform direct patient care, assist with exams and procedures, manage medications and immunizations, document accurately, and support education for families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Current NYS Licensure and registration required.
• Current CPR Certification.
• One year experience preferred in pediatric, clinical, or office nursing.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Proficiency with medical record technology.
• MEDENT experience/knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including exams and procedure prep.
• Manage medications, immunizations, and specimen collection as ordered.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and nursing tasks.
• Administer nebulizer treatments and monitor respiratory status.
• Document accurately in patient records and triage as needed.
• Coordinate care and communicate with families and pharmacies.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and in-service trainings.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
