Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in New York.
• Experience in pediatric or adolescent care preferred.
• Excellent patient- and family-facing communication.
• Ability to document care and administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including exam/procedure prep, screenings, initial assessments for sick and well visits, patient exams and clinical procedures.
• Efficiently administer medications, immunizations and obtain specimens as ordered by providers.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures (e.g., suturing, obtaining specimen for culture) and conduct catheterizations.
• Administer nebulizer treatment and monitor respiratory status as applicable.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with room preparation and stocking supplies.
