Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for ambulatory care within the Child Health Pavilion. The LPN will provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced pediatric setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patient and family health goals.

The role requires an Ohio LPN license, a Nursing Diploma, and CPR certification. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM with one set off day and one evening rotation.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma required.
• LPN license to practice in Ohio is required.
• CPR certification is required by the Ohio Board of Nursing (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per standards of care and performance.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family health.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care and education.
• Act as a change agent to meet census needs and ensure safety.
