Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Rindge, NH is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide after-school pediatric nursing care for a 5-year-old boy at home. The role emphasizes one-on-one care, NG tube monitoring, feeding assistance, and ADL support in a family-centered environment.

The candidate should hold an NH LPN license, have pediatric experience, be CPR certified, and have reliable transportation. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–8:30 PM, 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Hampshire.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with NG tube care and feeding preferred.
• Experience caring for children with developmental delays or complex medical needs preferred.
• Current CPR certification required. Inter​im HealthCare offers monthly CPR renewal classes at no cost to employees.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely assist with the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the client's home.
• Provide care and monitoring related to the client's NG tube.
• Assist with feeding and follow the prescribed feeding plan.
• Assist with evening activities and age-appropriate routines.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Monitor the child's condition and report changes appropriately.
• Follow the individualized plan of care and physician-directed orders.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
• Communicate effectively with the child's family and healthcare team.
• Provide encouragement and support to promote the child's comfort, development, and quality of life.
