Urban Health Plan is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician (LMHC) to launch the TEAM First program in our pediatric behavioral health division in the Bronx. The clinician will deliver assessment, consultation, diagnosis, and brief therapeutic services for children 0–12 and their families.

Requirements include a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling with NYS LMHC licensure and bilingual English/Spanish. Minimum two years in pediatric therapy and strong diagnostic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and NYS LMHC licensure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric psychotherapy experience with ages 0-12 and family support.
• Ability to diagnose pediatric patients.
• Early Intervention/Early Childhood background is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage an assigned caseload of pediatric patients (0–12) within primary care.
• Provide brief, evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Develop and monitor patient-centered treatment plans in the EMR.
• Coordinate referrals to specialty behavioral health when needed.
• Educate patients and families on behavioral health and wellness.
