Job summary

Urban Health Plan seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Ph.D./Psy.D) to launch TEAM First in our pediatric behavioral health division. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, and the clinician will support children aged 0-12 and their families within primary care.

Under supervision, the BHC performs assessments, diagnoses, and brief evidence-based interventions, coordinating referrals to specialty care as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field with NY licensure as LMSW/LMHC/LCSW/LMFT.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric psychotherapy/clinical social work experience from birth to 12.
• Early Intervention/Early Childhood background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of patients aged 0-12 in a primary care setting with assessment and brief interventions.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services and develop BH care plans in the EMR.
• Coordinate care with specialists, schools, and community resources.
• Educate families on behavioral health conditions and wellness strategies.
• Document assessments and progress in the electronic health record.
