Urban Health Plan in the Bronx, NY seeks Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is bilingual in English/Spanish to join our Behavioral Health Department. You will provide individual therapy to adults and families, promote health and wellness, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Role requires a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, NY LMHC credential, and 2+ years of psychotherapy experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• New York State LMHC credential is required.
• 2 years of psychotherapy experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors impacting health.

Responsibilities

• Completes behavioral health screening, assessments, and evidence-based psychotherapy.
• Provides point of care service when necessary.
• Conducts therapy sessions with patients.
• Supports treatment plans and collaborates with other mental health providers to provide care.
• Engages in crisis intervention.
• Collaborates with medical providers and provides consultations.
